Hey girl, hey! What do you look for in a brand? Sustainability? Whether they are cruelty-free? Paraben-free? Top-quality yet cost-efficient? Relatable marketing? Trendy? Diverse and inclusive? A brand that speaks to you on an entirely different level than most popular brands?
Take a few seconds to go over your most-used beauty products, your most valuable pair of shoes and your most admired piece of clothing. Pick out 3 items and ask yourself, “would you have purchased these 3 items if they weren’t heavily advertised online or by almost all beauty enthusiasts on YouTube?” If the answer is ‘no’ or ‘probably not,’ then it’s definitely time for you to explore what else is out there.
In a world filled with entrepreneurs popping up every few seconds, why is it so hard for us to gravitate towards brands that aren’t on everybody’s and their momma’s must-have list? Scroll through Instagram right now and count how many sponsored posts you have on your timeline from brands that aren’t backed by major influencers or celebrities. I am willing to bet you won’t find many.
So, today, we are going to attempt to level out the playing field. My goal is to get you to become more adventurous, open-minded, and most importantly, aware of the fact that there are so many brands out there that aren’t on heavy ad rotation. They are all just sitting there waiting patiently for you to discover them.
